Kinetic Rush was my first participation in a challenge hosted by Pwnisher and also an opportunity to seriously explore Unreal Engine for scene assembly and cinematic rendering.
For this project, I focused on creating a fast-paced transformation sequence involving a human character turning into a werewolf. A large part of the production involved solving technical challenges such as animation transfer, blending multiple animation layers, working with blendshapes, and managing the character transformation pipeline inside Unreal Engine.
Since I joined the challenge late, the entire project had to be completed within just two weeks, which turned it into an intense production sprint. Despite the tight deadline, the process was both challenging and extremely fun, pushing me to improve problem-solving skills and optimize workflows under pressure.
One of the behind-the-scenes videos from the project highlights how technically complex and chaotic parts of the production process became at times, especially while troubleshooting animation and transformation setups.
